As a soft woman she moved, but
Not her to us, us to her, or we to we
Through illegitimately misty souls
We saw her arms become
We faced her, not her to us or we faced each other.
A no larger lake the crater left by a dried up dear trap. So many they spread
Like a field
Tears of pride or sorrow?
Sweat too drips like dew, but
Not only from the unbearable heat
Unstoppable beat rhythmic dropping of our feet
The air is not saturated with meaningless.
It stands stray for what it stand for
So sweat a little, if open pours
When the gates are allowed to fall
The stream will flow multi-directionally, and
So will your soul

Jerusalem of Gold
They tell me that's its name
So here I came to see the land, this amazing place of fame.
I first looked around and quickly learned a truth
Gold is not a color, nor a pigment of a sleuth.
Gold becomes a feeling, a yearning to see more
And what you begin to conquer is a world
Beyond your own
Your feet walk to the Kotel as your
Eyes open in awes.
A note is put within a crack and silence
Is heard by all.
A people have come to their homeland
And gaze upon its sky.
Something new has opened up inside of my
And catches me as new tears fall.

Jerusalem
When I wake up, I get a feeling deep inside
A feeling that I'm sure I cannot hide
Sometimes I don't know what to do
But then I begin to think of you
Over the years you seem to get old
Yet in the end you're always brave; bold
I cry when I think of thee in such bad times
Yet in the end I make up these clever rhymes
I love to pray along your city streets
It's just like Doug chillin with the Bears
You don't bring me down, you don't make evil cries
Even if you take a thousand and one tries
I see the stars up over your head
And then I realize it's time for bed
I run and I drop and I turn out the light
Hoping tomorrow will be just as bright
I love to talk on you seldom seen phone
And I remember with God I'm never alone
I love to watch the sun go down
Giving off an ugly frown
Then I realize tomorrows another day
Another moment to get up and pray
Then a warm smile appears in my face
That means we are all in his grace
It's the last moment, a lasting bitter cream
And I close my eyes and I enter my final dream
My final moment will feel like a piercing dark
And I will always remember the day you stole my
heart
