Working in partnership with the rabbi or educator leading the trip, Ramah will tailor a unique Israel program to the particular needs and interests of the group. Site exploration, discussions with experts, text study, and inter-active informal programming are combined to connect participants to Israel through learning that is both stimulating and enjoyable. Among the themes we have explored with adult travelers:
- "Facts on the Ground: Implications of the Peace Process"
- "Arise, Walk To and Fro Through the Land" (Genesis 13:17)
- "Jerusalem Sites, Texts and Stories"
- "Layers of Israel History: Turf and Text"
- "A Land of Many Peoples"
- "The Masorti Movement in the Modern State"
Photos and Comments from Participants
This trip was well-planned with many, many unusual and enjoyable activities. We had an absolutely firtst-rate guide who pulled it all together for us. We took home nothing but good memories of a wonderful time.
Participant, Norfolk, VAThe listening ear of Ramah staff members and the constant attention to our needs made group members feel wonderful about being in Israel.
Participant, San Diego, CAIt was so gratifying working with Ramah educators in building just the right trip for my synagogue study group.
Rabbi, Queens, NY"Euphoric" is the word circulating in our community about the trip. You folks at Ramah do an adult Israel trip better than any other organization that I have seen in action. You should do more and more of them!
