Spend 6 Months in Israel on Seminar and TRY!
Dear Ramah-nik,
You've been waiting for years to go on Seminar with your Ramah friends. Meanwhile, you've heard that Ramah also offers a fully-accredited academic spring semester program in Jerusalem for 10th and 11th graders. You'd love to go to Israel for a whole semester, and know that it would look great on your college application. But Seminar just sounds so amazing. What should you do?
Why not do both? Why not spend January 28- August 4, 2008 in Israel?
As a participant in Tichon
Ramah Yerushalayim (TRY) (January 28 - June 1) you will:
- join students from all over North America in college-style dormitory living
at Ramah's Jerusalem base.
- fulfill all of the general studies requirements for your home school, and
take an exciting assortment of Hebrew, Judaic, Israel, and Jerusalem courses.
- travel all around Israel, spend a week in Gadna (simulated army training),
get to know Israelis your age.
- enjoy the unique experience of celebrating Purim, Pesach, and Yom Ha'atzmaut
in Israel.
- finally, really end up speaking Hebrew!
When TRY ends on June 1st , you will have the option of staying with your
friends or relatives or participating in a special kibbutz program. You may
then join Seminar in Israel on June 25th. Or, you may join the pre-Seminar
program in Poland on June 16th, and continue with the Israel Seminar.
