Program Base
Ramah Programs in Israel are based year-round at the Israel Goldstein Youth Village in the San Simon neighborhood of Jerusalem. The campus is rambling and pastoral, and includes dormitory buildings, dining room, library, classroom buildings, infirmary, basketball court, science lab, cultural hall, tennis court and outdoor swimming pool. It is immediately adjacent to a commercial center and is only a 10 minute bus ride from downtown Jerusalem. The dormitories consist of separate buildings, each with its own lounge area. Rooms are of different sizes, with 2-4 students in each. One of the main advantages of our base is that in addition to TRY participants, there will be high school students from Israel and around the world - primarily from Russia, Yugoslavia, Ethiopia, and France - living and studying at the "Chava". The opportunity you will have to interact with students from various backgrounds adds an exciting dimension to the TRY experience, and will undoubtedly give new meaning to the concept of "ingathering".
